Thinking Together: Emotional and Social Intelligence for Teams and Leaders
I support people, teams, and organisations to reflect, adapt, and lead with greater depth, clarity, and care. My work is informed by two decades of applied leadership experience and a long-standing commitment to emotional and social literacy in systems and structures.
With over 20 years’ experience as a senior executive, and a background in social and critical psychoanalysis and mindfulness based practice, my approach to organisational support is both strategic and relational. I offer reflective practice/supervision, consultancy, and thought partnership to those navigating the complex emotional and social landscapes of frontline work, leadership and organisational change.
In the past 10 years, I’ve worked with business owners, senior leaders, managers, and teams across sectors — offering supportive challenge and space to:
Pause, think and adapt during times of uncertainty and transition
Navigate group dynamics with greater insight and care
Respond to workplace conflict and burnout with creativity and compassion
Develop ethical, sustainable strategies grounded in real-world conditions
I’ve also supported SME start-ups and scale-ups across local, regional, and national contexts to secure funding, manage risk, and lead through collective challenges — including Brexit, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the cost of living crisis.
I'm a member of the International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organisations. The purpose of ISPSO is to explore how psychoanalytic thinking can further our understanding of organisations and the wider social influences that impact them. The insights gained are used to promote and support the development of healthier, more humane, and better-performing organisations.
